Welcome to Our Bungalow...

Well since the launch of our website it has certainly become a popular site. Word has got round and we are getting hits and receiving emails from friends, family and the friends of our friends and family!

I have even heard a rumour that someone has started keeping chickens since looking at our website. Well if that's you, good luck and I am sure you will enjoy your hens as much as we do

The recipes page never really got going so we have decided to remove this from the site and it will shortly have details about gardening. Both growing flowers, fruit and vegetables whilst at the same time free ranging chickens. This is not easy as the chickens love to scratch around for worms and eat greens, especially fuchsias!

Whilst on the topic of chickens, the girls are laying on average 14 to 16 eggs per week and we have started selling 6 eggs for £1.20. Thanks to our first regular customer (Stuart) who has requested 6 eggs per week from us!

As the cost of Organic food pellets is twice that of regular pellets all funds received from the sale of the eggs are being used to purchase Organic food. It will not be long before we will have Organic Free Range Bungalow Eggs.

Our Bungalow:

We bought our bungalow in August 2003 and after 6 months of decorating moved in on 14th February 2004. When I say moved in, we moved into the lounge as the bedroom was not complete. The best part of 6 months later the bedroom was done. We then made a start on the lounge in January 2006 and got the drive and patio laid in April 2006. We can now say that all major decorating is complete three and a half years later!
